PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which is highly flexible and capable of thin film formation and of which the cured product has flame retardance. SOLUTION: A polycresol resin is characterized by having a weight-average molecular weight of 3,000 or more determined by a gel permeation chromatography and it is used as a curing agent for an epoxy resin in the epoxy resin composition.
