PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for heat treatment of a plate glass which is used for heat treatment of stacked plate glasses and prevents deformation by warping of each plate glass and which applies heat treatment to each glass plate such that heating and cooling are uniformly carried out and is also excellent in workability. SOLUTION: The jig for heat treatment of the plate glass G is provided with side plates 1 which comprises a crystallized glass with a thermal expansion coefficient of <=15×10-7/ deg.C and has a rectangular flat plane to place the glass G, and a spacer 2 which comprises a crystallized glass with a thermal expansion coefficient of <=15×10-7/ deg.C and has a spacer 2 to stack the side plates 1. The spacer 2 is an elongated square pillar member, and its upper and lower surfaces in the longitudinal direction are arranged to contact with both parallel ends of an upper side plate and a lower side plate, respectively and a vent hole 2a is arranged to penetrate the side wall in the longitudinal direction.
