PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an impervious sheet for a submarine landfill disposal site which is efficient and does not require removal work heretofore required for conventional floating bodies because the impervious sheet can first be kept floated on the sea surface by previously putting air therein and can then be sunk by putting a weight therein and consequently permits the use of one housing section for two applications. SOLUTION: The impervious sheet 1 for the submarine landfill disposal site to be laid into an enclosure disposed in the sea is provided with a housing section 5 into which the air or the weight can be put by partially doubling elastomer sheets 2.
