PURPOSE:To obtain a biaxially oriented polyester film excellent in scratch resistance. CONSTITUTION:The biaxially oriented polyester film contains, as a main component, a polyester containing an acid component consisting essentially of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and at least one glycol component and further contains complex oxide particles (A). These complex oxide particles (A) are composed of a substantially amorphous compound containing Al (aluminum), Si (silicon) and O (oxygen) as main elements and Al content [Al/(Al+Si) molar ratio] of this compound is >=0.3 and <=0.9 and average particle diameter of these particles is 0.01-5mum. These complex oxide particles (A) are included in a range of >=100ppm and <=50000ppm. |
