PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mica powder that maintains as excellent function of providing design ability which is an intrinsic function of mica, enhancing insulating property, enhancing mechanical strength of a resin or the like, providing barrier property, enhancing humidity resistance of paper or the like and improves dispersibility. SOLUTION: The mica powder has a 50% weight diameter of 15μm or less in a laser diffraction type grain-size distribution measurement and a 10% suspension comprising the mica powder of has a neutral pH and electric conductivity of 40μS/cm or less.
