PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moist raised fabric having flame retardance, a good touch and good follow-up properties to local surfaces, scarcely causing slipping off of fibers and having a bright color of the fabric and good opening properties of pile yarns and to provide a stuffed toy using the raised fabric. SOLUTION: This raised fabric is characterized in that piles constituting the fabric are composed of single fibers having 0.5-4 dtex singe fiber fineness, 80-100 wt.% of the single fibers have 0.5-2.2 dtex single fiber fineness, 10-80 wt.% of the single fibers are single fibers having flame retardance, the number of the single fibers is 300-2,000, the respective piles are composed of 20-80 wt.% of single fibers having <=a% (a is 0-7) root shrinkage percentage and 20-80 wt.% of single fibers having >=(a+3)% root shrinkage percentage and the compression work load is 5-50 cN/cm2. The stuffed toy uses the raised fabric. |
