SOLUTION: A device 14 for gradually cooling optical fiber bare wires is located between a spinning furnace 2 and a cooling device 4. It takes 90-500 seconds to make optical fiber bare wires with 125μm of outer diameter after the temperature of glass parts of an optical fiber preform 1 rises in the maximum temperature in the spinning furnace 2.</p> |
