<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer film in an environmental temperature having a permanent pore structure and maintaining porosity in an elevated temperature. SOLUTION: The porous film comprises a blend of (a) at least one film non-forming substance and (b) at least one film forming polymer, and has a network of pores and channels throughout the entire film. The film forming polymer exists in the blend in an amount between 5 and 35% relative to total volume of polymers. In addition, the film is non-friable.</p> |
