PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently replace laundry up and down and to the left and right even in the case where the amount of the laundry is large and to efficiently dry it without drying irregularities in a washing and drying machine provided with a process of blowing hot air into an inner tub provided with a rotation center axis in the vertical direction and drying clothes. SOLUTION: The inner tub 4 provided with the rotation center axis in the vertical direction is freely rotatably supported inside an outer tub 3 elastically hung inside a case body 1, a rotary blade 5 is freely rotatably provided on the inner bottom part of the inner tub 4 and the inner tub 4 or the rotary blade 5 is driven by a motor 9. Circulation air heated by a heater 13 is blown into the inner tub 4 by a blower 12 for drying, cooling air is introduced into the case body 1 by the blower 17 for cooling and a drying process is controlled by a control means. The control means is provided with two or more of the processes of the different time ratios of a tub rotation mode for drying while rotating the inner tub 4 and a rotary blade rotation mode for drying while rotating the rotary blade 5 and the process for which the time ratio of the rotary blade rotation mode is high is performed as the drying advances.
