PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus with which a threshing cylinder 5 and a waste straw transportation apparatus 62 are moved to nonoperation positions, maintenance of a threshing apparatus 1 can be readily carried out, furthermore, during a threshing operation, the threshing cylinder 5 and the waste straw transportation apparatus 62 are retained at proper operation positions and a threshing operation can be smoothly performed. SOLUTION: The threshing cylinder 5 axially supported on a moving side plate 26 and the waste straw transportation apparatus 62 for transporting waste straws are made movable to nonoperation positions. A lock apparatus 32 for integrally connecting the moving side plate 26 to a stationary side plate 29 at the side of the main body of the threshing apparatus 1 is arranged in the vicinity of a partition face of the moving side plate 26 and the stationary side plate 29. The threshing cylinder 5 and the waste straw transportation apparatus 62 are retained at operation positions through the lock apparatus 32.
