The indicator device comprises a first circuit (I) containing at least one spark gap (1) and a second circuit (II) which coupled in parallel with the spark gap(s) and contains at least one reactive device (2). The resistance of the second circuit is adapted so that when the current strength in this circuit reaches a given value corresponding to the spark gap ignition voltage, a beam of light is sparked across the gap. The current is then substantially directed across the spark gap instead of via the second circuit. For given combinations of current strength and duration the reactive device is designed to heat up as a result of the current and its resistance, sufficiently so that its form is changed. This change results in a signal device (8) being activated to indicate an error. |
