A method for operating and/or regulating an automatic gearbox on a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle is disclosed, whereby a creeping tendency is set by means of a creeping strategy. According to the invention the method provides for the driver to alter the creeping strategy in such a way that the creeping tendency of the vehicle may be influenced by the driver.
