PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bristle for a brush wherein a paint, a coloring material or a tooth powder, or the like, can be extremely favorably contained, and in addition, a distal end section thereof alone can be split, and in addition, the distal end is made thinner to improve the usability. SOLUTION: A central hole hollow body the cross sectional shape of which can be divided in a plurality is extrusion-drawn using a nylon or polyester based fiber material, and a hollow yarn is formed. The distal end section of the hollow yarn is dipped in a dissolving liquid, and the distal end section of the hollow yarn is hydrolyzed and split into 2 to 5 pieces. At the same time, this bristle for the brush is constituted in such a manner that respective distal end sections respectively have a tapered shape. |
