PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for ink jet head capable of performing a recording operation at a high speed even when a driving wave extends. SOLUTION: A driving waves 2, 3 having a cancel pulse CP are always selected when a non-ejection follows an ejection. Moreover a more suitable wave of the driving waves 2, 3 is selected even when ejection→non-ejection pattern occurs in odd numbers or even numbers. And a suitable dot is formed within an ejecting cycle because the driving wave 1 is selected when next ejecting cycle is the ejection like the ejecting cycle D of ch0 or the ejecting cycle B of ch1. The long driving wave can be used in the short ejecting cycle because the driving waves 2, 3 containing the cancel pulse CP spreads over adjacent two ejecting cycles each other as to a driving apparatus of an ink jet head constituted like this so that high speed recording can be done. |
