PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image diagnostic system to make quick and effective diagnoses by correlating images based on varied purposes. SOLUTION: An X-ray image diagnostic system has an X-ray imaging apparatus and a CT imaging apparatus which can take X-ray images and CT images of a subject respectively. When a specific position for the X-ray image is input, a CT image taken at a slice position corresponding to the specified position is brought up automatically. When the CT image is specified, an X-ray image taken at a position corresponding to a slice position for the specified CT image is brought up automatically. Any images can be brought up efficiently if the specific positions for the X-ray images and the slice positions for the CT images are expressed on the same absolute coordinate.
