PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg device for a table which can eliminate excessive leg posts when a plurality of tables each of which is constituted by supporting the four corner sections of a top plate with the leg posts are set to be adjacent, and can make the appearance simple and neat, and at the same time, can reduce the cost, and in addition, can fit an option such as a panel by utilizing the leg posts. SOLUTION: This leg device is used for the table A wherein the four corner sections of the top plate 1 are supported with the leg posts 2. In this case, an attaching section 3 to the top plate is provided to be symmetrical at least at four locations on the upper end of the leg post so that the leg posts may be jointly used for the plurality of tables being adjacent by attaching the leg posts in a manner to be astride of the corner sections of the adjacent top plates when the plurality of tables are arranged to be adjacent. At the same time, an optional supporting section 4 such as a panel 9 is provided at the central section.
