PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and quality of a product produced by equipment that products lengthy wire by welding short materials. SOLUTION: Clamps 21A, 21B of an upset welding apparatus, and a clamp 31 and a processing body 32 of a machining equipment 30 for removing welding burrs are positioned on a movable table 2, and the table 2 is made travel in conformity to a feed speed of a material. A tool 35 on the processing body 32 is made to travel, by a feeder mechanism 37, with a predetermined relative speed against a coupled body made by welded short materials 1.
