PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine for performing an optional treatment operation to each treatment part according to the detected stiffness by arranging a sensor for detecting the degree of stiffness of treatment parts of a person to be treated on a treatment element to successively detect the stiffness strength of each treatment part. SOLUTION: This massage machine is provided with a treatment program for automatically moving a massage mechanism 3 along the treatment parts of the person to be treated to perform a proper treatment operation of the treatment element 31. The treatment element 31 comprises a stiffness strength detecting sensor 32 for detecting the degree of stiffness of the treatment parts and a control means for performing the treatment operation of the treatment element 31 in the order of the stiffness strengths of the treatment parts of the person to be treated on the basis of the detection result of the sensor 32, so that a highly stiff treatment part can be intensively massaged.
