PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discoloration of a thermoplastic polyurethane and reduction of reactivity of a monomer, caused by heat treatment at the production and the processing. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic molding composition is obtained by introducing (E) 0.001-1% color stabilizer selected from the group consisting of specific substituted pentaerythritol diphosphites (based on the elastomer weight) to a reaction mixture before or under a polyurethane elastomer-forming reaction of (A) a polyol (having 450-10,000) molecular weight), (B) an organic isocyanate and (C) a polyol (having 60-400 molecular weight) [NCO/OH ratio = 0.85-1.2].
