COLOR IMAGE TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method by which a beautiful color image which is free from the transfer of a pattern mark of a transfer paper and also the generation of a dot mark of a dye, is obtained. SOLUTION: In the transfer method by which the color image of the transfer paper 112 formed in a sublimable dye ink is thermally transferred to a transfer object under pressure, the color image is transferred by inserting a transparent film sheet 15 between the transfer paper 112 and a receiving layer 12 formed on a display plate 10. Through this transfer method, the beautiful color image which shows no paper pattern of the transfer paper 112 and is free from the generation of the dot mark of the dye is obtained.
