PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitation layer and a device capable of coping with limited area by suppressing power consumption, height and length of the agitation layer at a low cost in order to provide multipurpose utilization for food manufacturers and environment related businesses. SOLUTION: In order to solve problems such as the magnitude of treatment capacities or the like of motors due to load on an oblong and long shaft by making volume of treatment material oblong or load on a shaft by heightening volume of treatment material to satisfy volume having a small area, following countermeasures are employed: (a) making the agitation layer square and installing a multipurpose layer thereto in order to satisfy the treatment volume, and making the bottom surface circular in order to increase the strength of the agitation layer or inserting a sweeper to the agitation layer to eliminate the collision of agitation boards and the like; (b) arranging motors at both sides of each shaft provided to each agitation layers and connecting a chain suspended on pillow blocks with the motors; and (c) making bolt holes on the surface of each agitation layer and fastening the agitation layer with bolts of pillow blocks over the rubber packing as a countermeasure for preventing the leakage of powder and water.
