STERILIZATION METHOD FOR FOOD EQUIPMENT OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method for food equipment capable of setting the mixing ratio of ethanol to water condensed on the surface of a matter to be sterilized to a suitable range. SOLUTION: This sterilization method comprises a pressure reducing process for reducing the internal pressure of a pressure vessel; a first condensation process for condensing steam on the surface of the matter to be sterilized contained in the pressure vessel; and a second condensation process for condensing ethanol vapor on the surface of the matter to be sterilized.
