PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording medium having excellent preservability on both a white paper part and an image part in a high- temperature severe atmosphere. SOLUTION: The heat sensitive recording medium comprises a recording layer containing an electron donative dye precursor and an electron acceptive colorant on a support. In this medium, as the colorant, at least one type selected from the group consisting of 4,4'-bis[(4-methyl-3-phenoxycarbonylaminophenyl) ureido] diphenylsulfone and 2,2-bis[4-(4-methyl-3-phenylureidophenyl) aminocarbonyloxyphenyl]propane, and at least one type selected from the group consisting of N-p-toluenesulfonyl-N'-3-(p-toluenesulfonyloxy)-1-phenylethane and p-toluenesulfonyl-p-aminophenol are used in combination. |
