<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reduction in power source capacity required for a printer and accomplish the miniaturization and price reduction of a device. SOLUTION: In reference to the timing of current application to each heating element of a line thermal head, the timing of the current application to the heating element, wherein the total time of the current application to each heating element is short, is shifted to the rear of pre-allocated time so as to level off the power consumption of the whole of each heating element within the pre-allocated time. Consequently, a head current, which concentrates in a time zone allocated to a low-concentration area, is deconcentrated.</p> |
