PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum made heat exchanger and its production method, which is equipped with a highly heat conductive radiation fin made of a general aluminum alloy almost not containing Fe and Ni. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger consists of a tube 11 in which a heating medium flows through and a radiation fin 12 jointed on the surface of the tube 11 by brazing. The radiator fin 12 is made of an aluminum alloy containing Fe of 0.7 wt.% or less and Ni of 0.05 wt.% or less. The brazing of the tube 11 with the fins 12 is achieved by a cooling process holding the brazed tube and fin at 300-500 deg.C for 10-20 minutes after they are heated for brazing.
