PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper images in higher rate with improved process capability when recording images by ink jet recording system. SOLUTION: The recording method includes the steps of generating ejection signals to drive a recording head 60 that records an image by an ink jet method based on input image data to be recorded; recording images continuously on a recording material 70 by driving the head 60 while, in parallel with the recording, reading the output images recorded on the material 70 by a CCD sensor 98; comparing the read output image data with the corresponding image data to be recorded, or comparing the output image data with each other for a plurality of output images; watching generation of abnormal phenomena such as clogging of a nozzle orifice of the head 60 and reduction of ejected amount of ink droplets; and taking action in solving the phenomena if occurred. |
