PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method which can grasp and evaluate an in-mold state of a polyurethane foam with time. SOLUTION: An evaluation method for a polyurethane foam molded by use of a mold comprising a lower mold and an upper mold attachably/removably disposed to cover an open portion of the lower mold and form a closed space between the lower and upper molds, the mold having a cavity to which a polyurethane foam molding material is supplied, is conducted by repeating an operation of supplying the polyurethane foam material to a predetermined position of the mold, stopping the polyurethane foaming reaction by completely closing or pressurizing the inner portion of the mold and removing the molded item from the mold using the same material at different times and by comparing the obtained molded item with each other.
