The circuit has a self-oscillating half-bridge inverting arrangement having two controlled half-bridge switches (T1,T2) and with current feed-back via a control transformer (RKA-RKC), two half-bridge capacitors (C2,C3), a power transformer (TR), an overload detector stage (R4) and a switch-off circuit (T3). The power transformer primary is coupled to the control transformer and to the junction (F) of the capacitors. Its secondary is connected to the filament lamp (HG). The switch-off circuit is connected to the overload detector stage and switches off the half-bridge converter in the event of an overload or short circuit. |
