PURPOSE: A method for preventing a test error in a full electronic telephone exchange is provided to divide each test into a normal test and a specific channel test so as to be executed according to a user's selection and to carry out a retest for a channel generating an error in the middle of testing. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects a desired board to test, a main processor judges whether the present test to be carried out is a normal test(S10). If the present test to be carried out is the normal test, the main processor executes tests for all the channels(S11). In case that the present test to be carried out is not the normal test, the main processor judges that the present test to be carried out is a specific channel test and executes tests for the specific channels appointed by the user(S12). In case that the number of error channels is more than a give number(S13), the main processor releases the relays of the test channels(S14) and starts a retest from the first channel that generated an error(S15).
