A device for optimizing a transmitter comprises at least an element used to evaluate, depending on the quality indicator(s) received, the optimization necessary for at least one parameter of said transmitter, in particular of at least one element of its transmission system. In addition, the broadcasting system comprises at least: one transmitter receiving optimized parameters used to adjust the parameters of at least one element of its transmission system and transmitting a signal with at least one audio program and the configuration of its transmission system, one reference receiver receiving the signal transmitted by said transmitter and supplying a signal containing at least one quality indicator, and an optimization device receiving said signal with quality indicator and supplying the adjustment parameters to said transmitter.
