HARD GELATIN CAPSULE WITH REDUCED GENERATION OF STATIC ELECTRICITY AND INCREASED LUBRICITY OF FILM

PURPOSE: A hard gelatin capsule with reduced generation of static electricity and increased lubricity of a film is provided. A serious adhesion defect generated during the production of a capsule is prevented, thereby to smoothly perform a capsule transferring, printing and filling process. CONSTITUTION: A mixed solution containing 0.3 to 1.0 parts by weight of a mixture of 0.4 to 0.8 parts by weight of mono- and di-acetylated monoglyceride and 0.05 to 0.1 parts by weight of sodium lauryl sulfate is added to a gelatin solution containing 100 parts by weight of gelatin, agitated, left alone for a specified time and then molded. The mono- and di-acetylated monoglyceride is a clear liquid phase and sodium lauryl sulfate is an anionic surfactant having an HLB value of 38 to 42.
