PURPOSE: A device for detecting a trouble of a fan is provided to remove an unsuitable load of a CPU by applying a program-available logic element. CONSTITUTION: Fans(11-13) output signals in accordance with a trouble or not thereof. If a fan trouble signal is generated from a signal in accordance with a trouble or not of the fans(11-13), a program-available logic element unit(14) outputs an interrupt request signal. If the interrupt request signal is inputted from the program-available logic element unit(14), a CPU(16) outputs an interrupt acknowledge to the logic element unit(14) and performs a control for managing the fan trouble in a trouble processing unit(15) through an interrupt service routine. If the interrupt service routine is terminated, the CPU(16) returns to an interrupt enable mode.
