PURPOSE: An apparatus for suppressing an interference signal in a mobile system is provided to enhance call quality by connecting a CMA adaptive structure doubly so that convergent speed can be improved. CONSTITUTION: The first CMA suppressing unit(100) is connected with the second CMA suppressing unit(200) in serial. The output signals(Z1'-Z2') of the first CMA suppressing unit(100) are the input signals of the second CMA suppressing unit(200). The output signals of the second CMA suppressing unit(200) are transmitted to a decoder. Each CMA suppressing unit(100,200) includes a delay part(11), an addition part(12), and a coefficient vector updating part(13). The delay part(11) delays a plurality of user signals, outputted from a receiving block, in order to accumulate them for a period of 3 symbols. The addition part(12) adds the values obtained as the delayed user signal symbols are multiplied by a coefficient vector respectively. The coefficient vector updating part(13) updates the coefficient vector every period. A slicer(14) that determines 1 or -1 of a symbol exists only in the second CMA suppressing unit(200).
