PURPOSE: A device for sensing a system power using a signal of a serial port is provided to check a trouble of an electric power of a system by sensing an output signal of a serial port in accordance with on/off state of an electric power of the system. CONSTITUTION: A signal sensor(10) senses a power source status of a corresponding system through a data value being outputted when an electric power of a system is turned on/off. A manager alarm device(20) receives a power source status of a corresponding system sensed through the signal sensor(10) and transmits the received power source status to a manager. The signal sensor(10) senses a power source status of the system through a serial port of the system. If the data value is "0000 0000", the power source is off-status. If the data value is "1111 1110", the power source is on-status.
