METHOD OF COMPENSATING COLOR DIFFERENCES CAUSED BY PRINT CHARACTERISTICS AND RECORDING MEDIUM READABLE BY COMPUTER HAVING PROGRAM FOR IMPLEMENTING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method of compensating color differences caused by print characteristics is provided to output a compensated image for a color value of an output color table by applying an error value of a print compensation color table, to compensate color errors and color loss caused by hardware characteristics of a printer, thereby obtaining an image near to an original color. CONSTITUTION: A program sets up an original color table on a computer(S11). The program outputs the original color table by a printer to make out a color chart(S12). The program scans the output color chart with a scanner to make out an output color table(S13). The program extracts an error between the original color table and the output color table(S14). The program stores the extracted error in a printer compensation color table(S15). When a substantial image is output, the program applies an error value of the printer compensation color table to a corresponding color value, and outputs a compensated image(S16).
