PURPOSE: Provided is a Ziegler-Natta catalyst for polymerizing olefin, which has a high activity and a high tacticity and is produced by using a magnesium chloride compound, an organic alcohol, a hydrocarbon solvent, and an organic halogenide as starting materials. CONSTITUTION: The Ziegler-Natta catalyst is produced by a process comprising the steps of: dissolving the magnesium chloride in a mixed solution of the organic alcohol, the hydrocarbon solvent, and an organic phosphorous compound and adding a precipitation auxiliary, wherein the organic alcohol is C3-C20 propanol, butanol, 2-methyl pentanol, and etc.; bringing the resultant into contact with a mixed solution of titanium tetrachloride containing 10-50wt% of hydrocarbon chloride and then increasing the temperature of the mixed solution to be 80-110deg.C, wherein the hydrocarbon chloride is chloropentane, ethylene chloride, chlorobenzene, and etc.; reacting the resultant with an ether-based inside electron donor for 1-3 hours and then filtering to obtain a solid compound; cleansing the solid compound with an alkyl benzene solvent and bringing the solid compound into contact with the mixed solution of titanium tetrachloride containing 10-50wt% of the hydrocarbon chloride and then repeating the above steps; cleansing with the hydrocarbon solvent to remove the titanium tetrachloride and organic materials.
