PROCESS FOR PRODUCING ELECTRIC INSULATING MATERIAL WITH HIGH VOLTAGE

PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing an electric insulating material with high voltage, improved dielectric breakdown, and excellent tracking-resistance by using an EPDM-silicon blend as a main material. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: preparing a silicon modified EPDM malate compatibilizer by applying silicon having amino propyl groups on the both terminals thereof to EPDM malate by imidation; mixing EPDM and silicone and adding the compatibilizer and mixing at an ordinary temperature; mixing the mixture with aluminium oxide, DCP, zinc oxide, titanium oxide, antimony oxide, stearic acid, P6 and carbon black.
