METHOD FOR CONTROLLING STROKE OF LINEAR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling stroke of linear compressor is provided to operate the linear compressor at optimum efficiency under maximum load condition of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises three processes. The first process is to set up a plurality of stroke values to compare with stroke value impressed to a linear compressor. The second process is to compare the setup stroke values with an input stroke value to change stroke commanding value on initial starting. The third process is to compare the stroke commanding value with a detected stroke value to control the input stroke value thereby. The maximum stroke commanding value is set up lower than the stroke commanding value on maximum load condition to safely operate the linear compressor.
