PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cold-rolled steel sheet for shadow mask is provided, in which by properly controlling temper-rolling condition of cold rolled steel sheet, the cold-rolled steel sheet does not has strip torsion after etching without roller levelling. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the steps of hot rolling a steel slab comprising C 0.002 wt.% or less, Mn 0.20-0.45 wt.%, S 0.015-0.020 wt.%, P 0.02 wt.% or less, Cr 0.01-0.03 wt.%, Al 0.01-0.02 wt.%, O 0.0010-0.0020 wt.%, a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities followed by cold rolling, low temperature annealing, and temper rolling wherein Mn/C 100 or higher, Al/O 5-20, and Mn/S 10-30. In another embodiment, the method includes the steps of hot rolling a steel slab comprising C 0.003 wt.% or less, Mn 0.10-0.20 wt.%, Al 0.01-0.05 wt.%, N 0.004 wt.% or less, a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities followed by first cold rolling, decarburization annealing, second cold rolling, and temper rolling. In the method, temper rolling is conducted by the follow equation where R is diameter of a roll(mm), hi is initial thickness of a slab(mm), hf is the thickness of a slab(mm) after final rolling, and the resulting Δ value is less than 4.0.
