PURPOSE: A lead wire forming and taping machine of a resistor is provided to reduce the ratio of defective product in forming object and increase productivity. CONSTITUTION: A resistor conveyer(100) receives and conveys a resistor bundle. Both ends of a lead wire in the resistor bundle is taped. A tape releasing device(200) releases a tape which is taped to the both ends of the lead wire. A forming device(300) takes a resistor conveyed from the resistor conveyer(100) one by one by a predetermined interval and forms a lead wire of the resistor. A detector(400) senses widths of both ends of the lead wire of the resistor formed by the forming device(300) and selectively moves the both ends of the lead wire according to a formed status. A taping device(500) tapes the both ends of the lead wire of the resistor from the detector(400) by a pair of tapes and discharges the formed resistor as the taped resistor bundle.
