PURPOSE: A method and system for performing log-in by certifying call ID is provided to log-in at an internet site as a subscriber by authenticating a call ID of a personal terminal in case that the member is charged for using the site. CONSTITUTION: A customer with a personal terminal connects to a member store site through the Internet(301). The customer connects to a phone authentication log-in server(302). The customer inputs a resident registration number and a phone number(303). After that, the customer transmits the numbers to a phone communication company subscriber management server(304). The server searches phone communication subscriber information in a database in real time(305). In addition, the server confirms whether there's authentication information on the customer(306). In case that there's no information, an error message is transmitted to the customer(307). An authentication result is received from the server(308). A short message for requesting a call is transmitted to the terminal of the customer(309). The customer receives the message and pushes a call button(310). The server confirms the customer's call ID(311). In case that the ID isn't confirmed, an error message is transmitted to the customer(312). An authentication item is registered in a database(313). The item is registered in the communication company(314). The customer's password is transmitted to a host computer of the site(315).
