PURPOSE: An apparatus for cooking barbecue is provided to minimize breakage and loss of nutrition of food and to discharge harmful components such as a heavy metal from the food to enable a fast cooking. CONSTITUTION: A casing(1) is partitioned into a cooking chamber(2) and a storage chamber(4) in a longitudinal direction. The cooking chamber(2) is provided with a network along its longitudinal center. At least two infrared heater(9) is fitted around the network. The network and the heater are coupled with a rotation plate(10) which is rotated in one way by a motor(11) connected to a shaft(14) with a large gear. At least one longitudinal hooking tool is arranged around the heater, having a plurality of hooks, being connected to a small gear meshed with the large gear. The rotation plate is adapted to rotate by fourth of a round by a distance switch. A fan(20) connected with the motor acts to move hot air in the cooking chamber into the storage chamber. The hot air of the storage chamber is elevated an inner spacing of a double back plate and an inner spacing(23) of a double side plate(22) via a plurality of through holes(21).
