PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cold-rolled steel sheet for Braun tube shrinkage band with superior magnetic shielding property and tensile strength even though Si content is steel is controlled to be low concentration is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the steps of reheating a steel slab comprising C 0.004 wt.% or less, Si 0.7-1.3 wt.%, Mn 0.1-1.5 wt.%, P 0.04-0.15 wt.%, s-Al 0.1-0.5 wt.%, N 0.004 wt.% or less, REM 0.01-0.1 wt.%, a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities; finish hot rolling the hot rolled steel sheet in the temperature range of 750 to 900°C; coiling the hot rolled steel sheet at higher than 550°C followed by cold rolling; and annealing the cold rolled steel sheet at higher than recrystallization temperatures. In this method, zinc or aluminum is additionally plated on the cold rolled steel sheet. The cold rolled steel sheet has a coercive force of less than 1.3 Oe, maximum magnetic permeability of higher than 3000, and tensile strength of higher than 40kg/mm¬2.
