PURPOSE: To prevent the problem of a conventional sanitary napkin that a little liquid or sweat is apt to be left on the surface of a leak preventive side wall to give a wet feeling to a wearing person. CONSTITUTION: A nonwoven fabric sheet 6 constituting the leak preventive sidewall 5 of this sanitary napkin is formed of a hydrophobic synthetic fiver 11 of a fiber length of 38-64 mm, and an assembly of hydrophilic fiber 12 such as cotton of a fiber length of 5-25 mm is dispersively contained therein as a massy or crimped state. A little liquid on the surface of the leak preventing sidewall 5 is retained by the assembly of hydrophilic fiber 12. Thus, the surface of the leak preventive sidewall 5 is easily laid in a dry state, and the wet feeling of the surface of the leak preventing sidewall 5 can be reduced to make it difficult to an uncomfortable feeling to the wearing person. |
