VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND ITS CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEMORY

PURPOSE: To provide a voice recognition system which can improve the efficiency of voice input and reduce the processing load on the whole system by using a user dictionary at a user's request. CONSTITUTION: A user dictionary 124 a constituted by making the reading and notation of a vocabulary to be recognized which is specified by a user correspond to each other, inputted data 124b for voice recognition, and dictionary management information 124c for determining a recognition field of a recognition dictionary used to recognize the data 124b for voice recognition are sent to a server 200 through a communication part 122. The server 200 refers to an identifier table 223a by a dictionary management part 223 and determines the recognition dictionary corresponding to the dictionary management information received from a client 100 from multiple kinds of recognition dictionary groups 225. A voice recognition part 224 recognizes the data 224b for voice recognition by using at least the determined recognition dictionary. Then the recognition result is sent to the client 100 through a communication part 221.
