PURPOSE: Provided are textile having cross stripes and a manufacturing method thereof which is characterized by using undyed yarn only as warp, using undyed yarn and dope dyed yarn as weft, weaving in a jacquard machine and making it possible to produce a few multiproduct. CONSTITUTION: The textile having cross stripes is obtained by a process containing the steps of: using the undyed yarn only as a warp, and weaving twill weave and plain weave alternately in the warp direction; using undyed cation dyeable polyester yarn(CDP yarn) and polyester dope dyed yarn alternately as a weft, and weaving to produce textile having one-way cross-stripes; and then dyeing the fabric with CDP yarn dyes to express two-way cross stripes.
