PURPOSE: A method for optimizing the antenna characteristics of a folder type mobile terminal using a multiple antenna interface circuit is provided to optimize antenna characteristics according to antenna loads varied in opening and closing the folder. CONSTITUTION: A main processor judges whether a signal corresponding to folder opening or folder closing is received from a read switch(100). If the signal corresponding to folder opening is received from the read switch, the main processor transfers the first switch to the first interface circuit(102). Then the main processor transfers the second switch to the first interface circuit(106). However, if the signal corresponding to folder closing is received from the read switch, the main processor transfers the first switch to the second interface circuit(104). Then the main processor transfers the second switch to second interface circuit(108). If a path corresponding to folder opening or folder closing is formed, the main processor executes a relevant function(110).
