PURPOSE: A flat ejector for a vacuum cleaner providing discharge air with backflow is provided to enable a manufacturing process to be facilitated and an installing spacing to be decreased and a foreign material to be deposited in an ejector chamber by providing an ejector nozzle with a same thickness as the ejector chamber. CONSTITUTION: A casing(11) is provided with a spacing therein and an intake passage in communication with an external. An intake pump(13) is contained in the casing to generate an intake force so as to draw in an exterior fluid through the passage. A filter member(15) is fitted on the intake side of the intake pump to block a foreign material of the intake fluid. A discharge backflow passage is connected with the discharge side of the intake pump to reflow at least portion of the discharge air from the intake pump into the intake side of the intake pump. An ejector nozzle portion(50) is adapted to provide an increasingly decreasing flow section area, being connected the intake side with the discharge backflow passage to inject a fluid flowing along the discharge backflow passage at a relatively fast speed. An ejector chamber(51) has a same thickness as the nozzle portion, being installed on one side of the nozzle portion and connected to the intake passage, with an inlet side communicated with the external and discharge side jointed with the discharge side of the nozzle potion.
