PURPOSE: An exhaust gas recirculation valve of a diesel engine is provided to improve performance of the engine, to cut down expenses, and to reduce the weight of the engine by reducing resistance of exhaust recirculation gas with eliminating a venturi part and a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation valve for a diesel engine is composed of a housing(31) having an inlet(32), an outlet(34), a cylindrical coupling unit(36), and a chamber(37) containing exhaust gas; a first valve(40) having a first valve body(41) and a first spring(42), and opening and closing an inlet passage(33) of the inlet; a second valve(50) having a second valve body(51) and a second spring(52), and opening and closing an outlet passage(35) of the outlet; a piston(60) supported by a third spring, formed around the second valve body of the second valve, and moved up and down along the coupling unit to discharge exhaust gas from the inlet by compressing; and a solenoid valve(70) formed in the lower part of the coupling unit to move up the piston intermittently. The performance of the engine is improved with reducing the resistance of exhaust gas. |
