PURPOSE: A device for warning the lack of fuel in a gas tank is provided to locate a centrifugal weight vertically always for precisely recognizing a fuel amount in a fuel tank and prevent the blinking of a fuel warning lamp. CONSTITUTION: A device for warning the lack of fuel in a gas tank includes an auxiliary tank protruded downwardly and outwardly from a bombe(20) with the hemispherical inside for storing a predetermined amount of fuel additionally, a centrifugal weight(30) having a body surface-contacting an inner spherical surface of an auxiliary tank(21) at an outer peripheral part and formed with the center of gravity at a lower part always, and a float guide(33) protruded by a predetermined length at an upper part of the body, a float(40) axially inserted into the float guide of the centrifugal weight for moving vertically along oil surface, and a lead switch(50) for lighting a fuel warning lamp of a dash panel according to a position of the float.
